youngster.id - Setelah melewati babak penyisihan tingkat nasional dan semifinal tingkat dunia, kompetisi Imagine Cup 2016 kini memasuki final tingkat dunia.
Sebanyak 35 tim terpilih akan berkompetisi langsung di Seattle, Washington pada tanggal 26-29 Juli 2016 mendatang untuk menyampaikan ide dan kreasi mereka, memperebutkan gelar juara Imagine Cup 2016 di tiga kategori: Games, Innovation dan World Citizenship, serta berkesempatan memenangkan uang sebesar $50.000.
Tidak sampai di situ, satu tim juga akan terpilih menjadi pemenang utama kompetisi Imagine Cup 2016 dan mendapatkan hadiah utama yaitu sesi pelatihan khusus dengan CEO Microsoft, Satya Nadella.
Tahun ini, Indonesia kembali menorehkan prestasi dengan kehadiran tim None Developers di babak final Imagine Cup 2016 tingkat dunia kategori games yang sukses mengembangkan “Froggy and the Pesticide”. Game ini telah tersedia untuk perangkat Windows dan Android. Adapun tim None Developers terdiri dari empat mahasiswa Indonesia berprestasi yang berasal dari Universitas Trunojoyo, Madura.
“Kecerdasan dari tim yang berhasil masuk ke final dunia tahun ini sungguh menakjubkan. Mulai dari konsep permainan yang luar biasa, alat penyelamat kehidupan, hingga solusi yang dapat merevolusionerisasi bisnis. Kami yakin mereka yang menghadiri Imagine Cup akan sangat tersentuh dan terinspirasi dengan ide-ide cemerlang para pelajar setelah kompetisi ini berakhir dan terpilihnya pemenang yang baru,” ujar Pablo Veramendi, Imagine Cup Competition Manager.
Dan inilah para finalis yang akan berangkat ke Seattle!
